the light on the beach - prologue

When the light shines on the beach, Sap started to see the future as though the sunlight was the messenger of the god, especially as the golden light was so bright yet warm that it seemed to be approachable and non-approachable.

Sunlight should represent vitality, she thought. It brings life to the world, and is the primary source of energy on the earth. If you trace back the food web and thus the energy pyramid, you have to admit that the sun is the one and only one origin of life. Sap could not imagine what the world would be like once the sun disappears, as if she could not imagine what the pavilion would be like once the sun disappears and what the pavilion would be like if the sun had disappeared. Maybe, the pavilion would not be built if the sun had disappeared. But how could it be? She would never allow that! Still, in the end, she did not have the power to stop that, if that had to happen.
