His light is on. His curtain is down.

Sap cannot control her desire to wander around his place.

Perhaps the God sympathized with her too. She almost bumps into Kay.

"Happy Valentine!" Kay's sexy voice stops her from bumping in.

"Happy Valentine!" Sap replies in reflex and after a short pause, nervously presents a piece of chocolate from her pocket.

"That's for me?"Kay is a little bit surprised and says "thank you for your chocolate" after Sap has nodded, which is undetectable if he has not paid attention.

Sap emphasizes, not realizing that it's over-stressing, "It's my town's customs to send friends chocolate as a means of blessing."

Kay can read the meaning behind, but he chooses to filter it and takes what Sap "emphasizes".

"Aren't you dating your friend?"

"Oh, I got some work to finish. But it's almost done." Kay cannot tell her that he does not know why he was unwilling to leave on that particular day. He felt that something should happen, and he has been waiting for that.

"How about you?" Kay regrets as Sap blushes shortly after he unconsciously asks that.

Has she got a boyfriend?

"I've dated him already." Sap answers ambiguously, referring to this contrived date.

"That's good." Kay wants to leave now because he finds himself feeling uneasy.

"Wish you a happy Valentine's Day. See you." It's Sap who ends this conversation.

Kay stuffs the gift into drawer when he returns his office, without noticing the tiny lines in wine-red on the pink wrapping.

The line reads
"Be my Valentine
If I can have you ever care about this line."

因一填字遊戲，查考「問世間、情為何物，直教人生死相許」的作者，因此得知全文，又發現這闋詞有很多版本流傳於世，以上版本根據"傳統中國文學電子報第七十三期2001/03/02"。

這詞固然淒婉動人，但又有誰想到是作者十六歲之作？此人想必是個賈寶玉般的風流情種，憑着才情迷倒萬千少女！一向只知道小龍女和楊過之間的痴情故事，不想天上雙雁更痴情……

怨相會，愛別離，統統是痴兒。
